The Hive is located behind Busy Bee Garden Center. Once you arrive at the entrance of Busy Bee, you'll be directed by signage as to where you should go. Please use the address of Busy Bee Garden Center in your GPS to help you arrive at The Hive. 5901 HWY 65-69 Indianola, Iowa 50125

As long as the weather remains in good condition (no rain/not too hot), the ceremony will be held outdoors.

As much as we love kids, unless stated specifically on your invitation, we ask that you do not bring your children. We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun date night!

Knowing it will be a warm June day, please wear dressy casual wear. Women can wear dresses while men can wear short sleeves, button ups, polos, and dress shorts. Please avoid jeans, white colors, and graphic t’s.

Unless stated on your invitation, we ask that you do not bring a plus one. We are trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible with all our family and closest friends.

To ensure the safety of your guests, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased from and served by the venue. Outside alcohol will be confiscated. For your event, you will be asked to schedule a time to meet with venue staff to prepare a menu for the bar. This will ensure our bar will meet the needs of your guests. No alcohol will be served to, nor may be consumed by, any persons under the age of 21. Bar service will be open until 11 p.m.

We encourage guests who may have overindulged to leave their vehicles at The Hive overnight! Because we regulate access to the venue, we just ask that they are picked up between the hours of 9 a.m. - 11 a.m Sunday morning.
