We are finally having a “wedding” to celebrate 5 years of marriage together with all our friends, old and new.

If you don't know already (which you should), Gloria and John are proud parents of three cats (& one in spirit).

Richard Parker (shorthair), Rigby (Maine Coon mix), and Redbeard (black) will be celebrating at home in Ann Arbor, as we prioritize their safety and wellbeing.

Gloria's beloved firstborn Rizzo crossed the rainbow bridge unexpectedly in April 2023, but will forever live on in her parents' hearts.

Since we are already married, we will be signing a different sort of paperwork ... name change paperwork!

We chose our new last name together so we can share something together to represent our union.

But also "Li-Hixson" or "Hixson-Li" low-key sounds like a disease :<
