Do you have a registry?
First, we would like to say that the greatest gift you can give us is your presence at our wedding. We are thankful to celebrate with you! As for a registry, we do not have one as we have all of our essentials and would prefer to reduce any waste associated with replacing them before they reach the end of their useful lives. Instead, we have opted for a honeymoon fund which can be found here: www.travelersjoy.com/johnjill
I've heard STL is dangerous, are there areas I should avoid?
All cities in the world have dangerous areas. St. Louis is no exception, but we've never felt unsafe in the areas we frequent. There are some places that are uncomfortable late at night mainly in the northern and eastern parts of St. Louis; however, there's no reason to travel through these areas so there should be no risk to guests visiting. The wedding venue and surrounding areas are filled with many things for visitors to do and are completely safe.
Where should I park for the wedding?
Throughout Tower Grove Park there will be parking on the side of the road. There may be a small walk to get to the wedding but all parking is free. Let us know if you need accessible parking. There will be an extremely limited amount of handicap parking.
Are there any places to eat you'd recommend?
Soup Dumpling STL is our local favorite and is a mainstay of our weekend errands routine. DD Mau is great if you like Vietnamese food, and Kain Tayo is an excellent Filipino option.
Beyond Asian food, St. Louis has a rich culture. Head to Pappy's or Sugarfire for some great barbecue, and the neighborhood, The Hill, has a wealth of Italian cuisine. Look around for all the local restaurants, and you can't go wrong.
