We've listed some of our favorite activities, locations, and places to eat below!
Free! Take a walk around downtown Bemidji and check out the 2024 featured sculptures. The website has a self-guided tour as well as a map. While you're downtown check out the local shops like Trove and Tea, Sundown Records, and Books and More.
We love going here as a family or for a little date! The minigolf is fun and the snack-shack has more than snacks, it's also our favorite pizza spot! They have excellent wood-fire pizzas.
One our favorite places for a quick bite! They have over 30 hot dogs and other options as well!
We often enjoy coming here for a weekend hang-out. Bemidji Brewing has a staple an seasonal selections of beers and seltzers including many alcohol free options and NA beer. They have a small selection of snacks but there's often a food truck there on weekends and they allow you to bring outside food.
Brigid's is a go-too for food, entertainment, and atmosphere. This low-key pub has Irish and American food as well as Red Lake Walleye. We LOVE the Irish Egg Rolls, Shephard's Pie, Salmon Colcannon Cakes, and burgers of the week,
Recently this has become our favorite coffee spot. Locally owned and operated, this is the former location of Dunn Bros Coffee. They roast beans in-house and have killer grilled cheese sandwhiches!
Movil Maze is a wooded trail area for hiking and mountain biking located just outside of Bemidji. Emily and I love to take walks here in the summer. Bring bug spray!
We love to go to the state park for the miles of trails (some are short, too!) We both buy annual park passes (A day pass is $7) and go here throughout the year. They have rentals as well as swimming.
