Travel Tips and Tricks

#1TRAVEL TIP:

RENEW OR APPLY FOR YOUR PASSPORT EARLY.

(Here's how to do that.)

Travel Credit Cards

A great way to save money is to utilize travel credit card reward points to book your flights. The following airlines have flights to Montego Bay Airport, consider looking into one of their airline-specific cards.

- United

- America

- Delta

- Spirit

- Frontier

If you aren't sure what airline you’ll be flying yet, consider a card that is not affiliated with one airline. These are some great low-fee travel cards that will have large point bonuses when you sign up:

Google Flights

Be aware, if you choose to pursue a travel credit card, you may need to use their website to book with your reward points.

Navigating the Airport in Jamaica

- Have a black or blue pen with you on the plane, you will be asked to fill out a paper I-94 Arrival/Departure Form when you land in Jamaica.

- Know the resort address and the dates of your stay

- Be prepared to pay a $29 per person departure tax if your airline does not include this in the cost of your flight.

- For faster processing on arrival at the airport, travelers are encouraged to submit their Immigration/Customs C5 card online at https://enterjamaica.com and may do so at any time before arrival. If the card has not been submitted online, passengers may complete the paper form issued in-flight by the airline.

Airport Transit

Do not get in a non-Sandals vehicle. Your all–inclusive package includes roundtrip airport transfers and arrangements are made by Sandals – no action on your part is required. Immediately outside of customs at the airport, you will find a Sandals Desk. A representative will lead you to an air–conditioned shuttle bus that will take you to the resort.

All Inclusive Resort etiquette

- If you utilize the spa, a butler service, or any off-resort services (like excursions) please be prepared to tip at your discretion.

- Food and drinks are unlimited, you can find information about the various restaurants and bars at the front desk.

- There will be a variety of included activities, take advantage of them!

- There will be nightly entertainment that’s free, we hope to see you out and about.

- Don’t pee in the pool. (Coming from a former lifeguard.)
