Hello! I met Holly when a mutual friend of ours introduced us because we were both looking for roommates. Never did I imagine when we first moved in that I would get to watch her fall in love and then stand by her side as a maid of honor. It’s a joy doing life with this gal so John is a lucky guy!!!

Hello my name is Anna, I’m a firm Bigfoot believer and Holly’s favorite sister. We go Bigfoot hunting every year and will never lose hope in finding that dude. John’s coming with us next year, wish him luck.

I met John at youth group in 2009. Over the 15 year course of our friendship, we have accomplished much together, the peak of which is an impressive 3,000 pokes on Facebook.

Holly and I met at POP and decided to get weekly coffee after Mass; from there we became good friends! I am a firm believer that peanut butter and chocolate (with a pinch of flaky sea salt) is the best flavor combination around. I love reading, sparkly cowboy boots, and most important spending time with my Divine Fiancé: Jesus.

I’ve known John since the young age of 20. Through all the adventures over the years, he is now 21 and getting married. The journey has been great and there’s so much more journey ahead for him and Holly!

Wie geht’s! My name is Lois, and Holly and I first became friends in 2017 because of a common appreciation for cranberry juice. We’ve stayed friends because of books, beliefs, and just a whole lot of laughs shared together.

Howdy! I met and got to know John while attending the regular Monday Game Nights at the Marwick house. I made such a good impression that we decided to live together and take a cruise to Alaska (Yes, we absolutely needed to do the Titanic pose).

Hi my name is Haiden, I’m a nature enthusiast and lover of fluffy cats. Holly has been my best friend for more than a decade, and she’s the one I can always count on for a night full of laughs and activities like reenacting musicals or recipe experiments.

John met Bob while volunteering and then became friends in exchange for birthday cake. The two became roomates, and over the years, they have enjoyed game nights, 6 Flags & LAN parties together.

My name is Yasmin Davidson. My purpose in this life is to serve others so what a delight it is to be able to serve Holly and John as part of the wedding party. Fun fact: I am Holly’s bonus sister as I got to spend a summer with her precious family. Anyway- ¡que vivan los novios!

Where to Stay:

Our Wedding Mass is at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, TX, while our reception is in Anna TX (40 mins north of Plano). If flying in, please fly in to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL). The Church is about a 20 minute drive from the airport, so if you are planning to stay in close proximity to airports, we recommend booking somewhere close to the church. We have not set aside any hotel blocks, but would recommend these hotels. There are also a number of very good Airbnb options in the area.

Smaller of the two airports. Southwest Airlines is the only airline that flies through here.

Dallas Love Field

This is the larger of the two airports. All other airlines fly through here.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

This hotel is in McKinney, TX just off of HWY 75. McKinney is a good halfway point between the church and reception venue.

Sheraton McKinney Hotel

This Hilton is a 6 minute drive from the church. It is farther away from the reception, but is off a major highway, so the drive will not be difficult. :)

Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Richardson

If you are staying in Bonham with the Kapps this is the best hotel! :)

One awesome thing about Plano, is the amount of wonderful Asian restaurants. This is our favorite sushi spot! :)

Downtown McKinney has a variety of different shops, restaurants and museums to explore!

Historic Downtown McKinney

Check out one of our favorite restaurants in the area. A locally owned Chinese spot, it's our go to when we can't decide where to go. This is the original location, though they just opened a new one off of HWY 75!

Wu Wei Din Chinese Cuisine - Plano Independence

Fort Worth is a bit of a drive from Dallas, but if you want the whole Texas experience, it's worth the drive!
