To get to Nerja, you will fly to Malaga airport.

Both Ryanair and Aer Lingus fly to Malaga and they usually open their flights 1 year in advance.

You can fly from Knock, Shannon, Cork and Dublin airports.

By Taxi:

Always pre-order your transport. If you try to get a taxi when you arrive at Malaga airport, the drivers will charge much more and they rarely know where they are going when they get to Nerja.

By Public Transport:

Train from Malaga Airport to Málaga bus station, and bus to Nerja .

Take the train from Málaga airport train station (Malaga Aeropuerto) as far as Maria Zambrano train station. This station is right next to Malaga Bus Station (Estación de Autobuses de Málaga)

Approx 10-minute train journey

Then take the Bus from Malaga Bus Station (Estación de Autobuses de Málaga) to Nerja

Approx 1.5 hours

Because everyone has different budgets we are asking people to book accommodation in the centre of Nerja. The night before, the wedding ceremony, and the day 2 will all be held in Nerja. There will be coaches organised to and from the wedding venue which will be leaving from Nerja also. If you use the Balcon de Europa as the centre point there are lots of hotels, apartments and villas within walking distance.
