Dylan and I (Jolayne) met while working weekends in high school when we both were employed at the west end Keg Steakhouse and Bar. We started dating around the time of graduation from Jasper Place High school in 2012 and have been together since.

What started as a summertime fling, soon tuned into something more serious as Dylan introduced me to his family as his girlfriend for thanksgiving. Since then, we both have been in each others lives, and our relationship has turned in to a beautiful, kind, and loving friendship that continues to grow ever since.

Over the decade we’ve both had our fair shares of ups and downs that comes with growing up, from graduating high school, learning to drive, picking out colleges and universities, losing loved ones, moving cities (and going long distance for 2 years), graduating from college and university, getting our first serious jobs, figuring out money, buying our first vehicles, starting careers, changing careers, travelling the world, living through a pandemic, and buying our first home together. Through all those experiences from being teenagers and going through the growing pains of figuring out what we want out of our lives in our 20’s, we have never left each others side.

We have enjoyed our 20’s and I wouldn’t change it for the world. We have both decide that we are ready for the next step and make it official. While on a beach in Jamaica on January 10, 2023, Dylan got the courage to drop to his knee and ask me to marry him and spend the rest of our lives together.

Now, we welcome you to come join us as we make it official this June 28, 2025.
