Our Wedding

We met in the summer of 2020 through mutual friends, but looking back, it feels like our paths had been crossing long before then. We both grew up surrounded by many of the same people and even participated in the same junior cheer and football program, the White River Wolverines. We like to think it was the "invisible string theory" that brought us together at the right time! After we officially met, TJ asked Jolee to be his girlfriend in February of 2021. Some of our earliest memories include dates to Crystal Mountain to drift the truck in the snow, and riding scooters in Ruston Way. Since then, we have shared so many milestones: celebrating my high school and college graduation, moving in together, TJ buying his first house and us moving to Ellensburg, and unforgettable vacations to Lake Roosevelt, Las Vegas, and Costa Rica. In December of 2024, TJ proposed at his grandparents' cabin in Naches, Washington. A place that means so much to us. We had often talked with his grandpa about getting married there someday, and although he sadly passed away a few summers ago, we're honored to carry out that dream and celebrate our wedding at the place that meant so much to him! And now to us! We can't wait to celebrate with you all!

Rilee and I have been best friends from the moment we met... Well, maybe not the moment we met because she had literally no idea who I was when I showed up to her 9th birthday party! But here we are 16 years later, no longer strangers meeting at a birthday party, and I couldn't ask for a better maid of honor than my best friend forever, Rilee!

Devyn is my built-in best friend - she is the greatest cousin ever! Devyn knows exactly how to cheer me up, make me laugh, and even roll my eyes when she's a bit sassy! Although we don't get to see each other as much anymore, I'm grateful that we talk every single day, and I seriously couldn't imagine spending such a special day without her by my side!

Who knew you could meet someone and grow so close to them within just a few months?? Rubie is the most genuine, sweetest, loving person in the world with the biggest heart! I remember telling TJ that when he and I get married, Rubie is without a doubt going to be one of my bridesmaids, and I'm so grateful she said yes!!

Eva always makes jokes about only children, then looks at me and says, "Oh, sorry Jolee!" Little does she know, I think of her as the little sister I never had. From Goodwill and coffee trips to rope swinging in Costa Rica, I'm so grateful for all our memories together! And I'm excited to have someone so fun, spunky, and kind as a sister, even if it is "in-law" and not by blood! ;)
