What is the weather like in Altadena in June?
Average high is 80 and average low is 57. Warm during the day and cool at night!
What is the attire for the wedding?
California Style! Smart and Casual! This is a backyard wedding so not overly formal, but still California cool! The Grooms will be wearing stylish, casual suits (no ties).

What can we expect at the wedding?
We'll start with apps and drinks as people arrive, followed by a lovely ceremony in our backyard. After that, there will be champagne in our front yard as the sun sets and the backyard is set up for an evening of food, drinks, dancing, and celebration. There won't be a formal sit-down meal, food will be available throughout the evening, so you can eat a bit, socialize, go back for more, and then do some dancing. We'll end with cake, desserts, coffee, and hot chocolate.
Are you guys registered?
No, we aren't registered - you coming is the only gift we've need. If you'd like, check out the "In Lieu of Gift" tab above, which has information on making a donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of Jon's mom.
Is there lots to do in Pasadena?
Downtown Pasadena has plenty of shopping, parks and restaurants to choose from. We are big fans of Old Town Pasadena!

The Getty,
Griffith Park and Observatory
Where do you guys recommend we stay for the wedding?
Because we are getting married in our backyard here in Altadena, we would recommend a hotel room or AirBNB in nearby Pasadena! We have included a list of accommodations under the "Travel" page.
My invitation lists just me - can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, no. We have a small backyard and space is limited, so we are keeping things to the people named on the invitation.
Can I bring the kids?
This is a small backyard with limited space, please contact us directly for more information on this topic.
What Covid precautions are you taking?
We require all guests be vaccinated (this includes being boosted). The venue is completely outdoors to keep everyone safe and the staff working the wedding will be masked.
We are planning on driving - where can we park?
We strongly recommend taking an Uber/Lyft/Cab - especially if you're coming from a local hotel in Atladena/Pasadena. It's a very short and cheap ride!
But if you are planning on driving, street parking in our neighborhood is available. We ask that you be respectful of our neighbors when you park and suggest parking on Olive Street, which is the north/south-running street at the West end of Terrace Street. As a reminder, our address is 281 West Terrace Street, Altadena 91001.
Is there anything planned for the day after the wedding?
Yes! Please join us for a fun family picnic at Charles Farnsworth Park in Altadena on Sunday. We'll be there from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m., and would love to see you! There will be sandwiches, refreshments, snacks, and games for kids, and a chance to catch up in a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking downtown Los Angeles.
Feel free to bring a guest or friends!
