In 2012, Jon and Kathleen both moved to Alexandria, VA and happened to frequent the same local sports bar. We quickly determined that while each having our uniqueness in activities and personalities we also had many similarities. Over the years we have had many adventures together, including trips to Solomon's Island, St. Michaels, MD, Roanoke, VA, and Harpers Ferry, WV.

In 2018 we began dating and in July of 2019 Kathleen rescued Flynn at 10-weeks old. Flynn is a big part of our lives and is active in our continued adventures.

Valentines Day weekend of 2021, Flynn asked Kathleen if she would allow Jon to be his Furever Dad.
