Rob is Jon's older brother and they grew up fishing with their father on the family boat, the Crack-A-Dawn, and eventually went on to buying their own boat together. Every time Rob took the boat out, something always went wrong. After Jon fixed it, the boat ran fine until Rob stepped foot on it again.

Megan met Kathleen when she moved to the Washington, DC area from San Diego. They became instant friends over indoor soccer and have since taken multiple international trips (France, Peru and Ireland) together. Megan is the planner and Kathleen is the go-with-the-flow.

Eric is one of Jon's friends from his home town, Cedar Grove, NJ. Eric and Jon spent time volunteering with the Cedar Grove Fire Dept before Eric joined the Army. Eric and Jon have remained good friends over the years.

Theoni and Kathleen have known each other since the days of ArtCraft. They survived the "house of horrors" together and then had a two-bedroom apartment in Alexandria together. Theoni took Kathleen to yoga for the first time and never was her yoga experience the same since.

Ryan and Jon started working together on the dinner boats back in 2015 and they hit it off like brothers. Ryan and Jon have a lot of great memories together, both at work and outside of work

Stacy has known Kathleen since college and was instrumental in finding her first job. Stacy also lived in "house of horrors" and is a witness/participant in more adventures than Kathleen wishes to recount.

Mike is one of Jon’s first cousins. When they were younger, Mike, Rob, and Jon were inseparable, always getting into some type of mischief together. Mike always was the jokester in the family as his nickname was "Magic Mike."

Michelle is Jon’s older sister. Jon was Michelle’s 7th birthday present, Yes, they share the same birthday! Michelle and her family adopted a rescue dog last year, Violet, and every time Jon and Kathleen come to NJ to visit, Michelle, Kathleen, and Jon always try to get together so that Flynn can play with his cousin Violet.

John and Jon went to high school together, worked together on the Tech Crew, doing lighting and sound for school functions, and then spent many years together as volunteers with the Cedar Grove Fire Department prior to Jon moving to Virginia.

Heather is Kathleen’s younger sister who lives in Wisconsin with her husband Jeremy, their dog Clementine, their son (Rory), and daughter (Ryleigh). Heather loves to cook and bake. She enjoys HGTV for cooking and home decorating ideas.

Chris is one of Jon’s oldest friends. They first met in pre-school and have been friends ever since. Jon and Chris were on the Tech Crew together as well in high school, doing the lighting and sound for school functions.

Kristen is one of Jon's first cousins. Jon and Kathleen are still waiting for the day when Kristen brings her pup Lexi to Virginia so that she can play with her cousin Flynn.

Ryan and Kathleen grew up across the street from each other in Sterling, VA. From the bike trips to 7-Eleven, to the carrying of the saxophone, to the ride in Ryan's first car, "The Cougar", Kathleen and Ryan have known each other over 30 years and their adventures could be a bestseller. Kathleen and Ryan played soccer together for years and Kathleen will never forget the emic camping trip where Ryan and I became expert ping pong players.

Bobby and Kathleen went to high school together and played soccer with the Drunken Pirates together after college. Bobby has been friends with Kathleen for over 15 years and his parents home was the site of many "friends" gatherings.

onathan Lenz is like a brother to Kathleen. Their mom’s taught together. Kathleen and Jonathan went to preschool and soccer camp together. They grew up sharing many the pool parties, birthdays and Christmas parties. Jonathan and Ian belonged in their high school marching bands. Kathleen stayed in only for the trip to Broadway!

Ian is another lifelong friend who is like a brother to Kathleen. They were born 3 days apart! Both of Ian’s parents taught with Kathleen's mom. Ian and Kathleen shared many a pool party, birthday party and New Year’s Eve party. They have fond memories of sledding on Blueberry Hill. Kathleen was thrilled that Ian also attended JMU, and while Kathleen played soccer for JMU, Ian was a part of their great marching band. Ian now works for Disney and hosted Kathleen and Megan on a speedy Disney Park adventure to be remembered.

Kathleen rescued Flynn when he was 10 weeks old and Jon has helped raise him from the day he came home! He is an adventurous little man; not afraid of a hike, a boat ride or an airplane.

Selena is Jon's oldest goddaughter.

Jacob is Jon's nephew and Lego partner.

Noelle is Jon's youngest goddaughter.
