Hampton Inn & Suites Mission Viejo
This is our top recommended hotel in the area. My family has stayed here before. It is about 3 miles from SJC.

Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa
This is a 4-star hotel in Dana Point. It has huge grounds and a great ocean view from the restaurant/bar. It is about $350 per night.
Laguna Hills Lodge
This 3-star hotel is very basic but clean, comfy and cheap (especially for California prices). My parents will be staying here. Cost is about $100 per night.
Inn at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, Autograph Collection
This is a gorgeous 4-star hotel near the Mission SJC and within walking distance of the venue. However, it is definitely a splurge at about $600 a night.
