When is the deadline to RSVP?
We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than August 4th, 2024. We will be sending hardcopy invitations (separate from the Save the Dates) in the coming months and the RSVP page of this website will be available at that time.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony is scheduled to begin promptly at 4:30. Please plan to arrive by 4:00 to ensure that you have plenty of time to park and take a seat before the celebrations begin! If you are taking the shuttle provided from either the Hyatt Place or Courtyard Marriott hotels, it will get you to the venue in plenty of time for the ceremony.
Is there parking available at Rosewood Farms?
Yes! There is plenty of parking available at Rosewood Farms that is a short walk from both the ceremony and reception locations. Cars can be left overnight, but they must be picked up the next morning by 9:00am. If you are staying at one of the hotels we have reserved room blocks, a shuttle will be provided to and from the venue.
Are there reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?
We have reserved room blocks at the Hyatt Place and Courtyard Marriott hotels in Newark, DE. Please refer to the Travel page for additional information regarding how to book your room(s). We highly recommend reserving a room in one of the hotel blocks and taking the shuttle to the venue if you are traveling from far away or if you are planning on drinking at any point during the wedding.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
If you are staying at one of the hotels we have reserved room blocks, a shuttle will be provided to and from the venue. The shuttles will leave the hotels for the venue promptly at 3:30.
Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We suggest that men wear a suit or dress shirt with tie and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates. We'd love our guests to dress up with us, but we understand that August can be hot, so please check the weather and dress accordingly!
Will the wedding be outside?
Weather permitting, we are planning for the ceremony to be outdoors. If the day ends up being extremely hot or rainy, the venue has a great backup ceremony location indoors. The cocktail hour will be both indoors and outdoors, and the reception will be completely inside. All indoor spaces have air conditioning.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Given that we are working with the venue's capacity restrictions, we have indicated on your invitation as well as in the RSVP section of this website whether or not you can bring a plus one.
Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
Yes! When you RSVP, there will be a space for you to indicate any dietary restrictions and/or allergies that we should be aware of. Our caterer will make sure to accommodate any of these types of requests.
What time will the reception end? Is there an after-party?
The reception will end at 11:00pm and shuttles will be available to take those staying overnight back to the hotels. We will be gathering on the first floor of the Hyatt Place hotel when the shuttles arrive back where there is a large bar and ample room to wind down the night, including an outdoor balcony overlooking Main Street. We hope you'll join us before turning in for the night!
