We love our little town! Send us a text or email if your looking for more recommendations for things to eat, drink, and see while you're here!
We love to support local small businesses and Downtown Lodi is a great place to start! There are so many cute shops and yummy restaurants. You can stop by Cheese Central and make your own charcuterie to take to any of the 85 wineries we have here. Downtown has several wineries and breweries all within walking distance. Or stop by some of our favorite restaurants; Lodi Beer Co, Brick House, Tequileros Cantina, or Dancing Fox. There are also several thrifts store, clothing boutiques, and little shops full of unique gifts.
Enjoy a easy stroll around the lake and through the nature area, or spend sometime kayaking the calm waters of the Mokulumne River.
Entrance fee: $5
Kayak rentals must be reserved in advance.
This is not your average bowling alley! It has a lounge-y vibe and upscale food and drink menu.
This place offers it all! Golf, a small zoo, and beautiful Japanese Garden!
Entrance fee: $5
The golf course also offers TrackMan at their driving range where you can play games (similar to TopGolf) and it only costs a bucket of balls. You will need to provide your own clubs.
"Whether you're a long-time local or a weekend guest, you'll be fascinated by Lodi's hidden stories." Tours last about 2 hours. You can schedule a guided tour in advance through the website, or take a self guided tour! This is new to Lodi so we have not tried it yet, but it's free!
According to their website "This All-Inclusive Wine Tour is the perfect combination of Wine, Food, Music, Education, and FUN! Ride the Wine Trolley to 3 Picturesque Wineries where you’ll learn about the deep-rooted history of Lodi Wine Country and enjoy a full-flight of wine at each winery made from some of the finest locally grown grapes in California." We have never done the Lodi Wine Trolley because we live so close to all the wineries, but it sounds like the perfect experience for visitors.
We have been members at Lucas since July 2021 and it is one of our favorite places in Lodi! Enjoy a guided tour of the winery and take home a free wine glass as a memento of you time in our little town.
Reservation fee: $20
We recommend making reservations in advance. Charcuterie boxes available for purchase (serves 2 people) or bring your own snacks.
Good wine and a gorgeous winery! They also have wood fired pizza (no outside food allowed).
Scotto's offers a little of everything! Bubbly wines, red and white wines, Non-alcoholic wines, and hard ciders! Our personal favorite is their Blueberry Zin Cider.
Klinker Brick never disappoints! Perfect place to bring your own picnic and taste some great wine! Our favorite is the Old Ghost Zinfandel.
We know olive oil doesn't sound too exciting. But trust us, their flavor infused olive oils are THE BEST! We love to bring bread with their olive oil and "dipping spices" to every gathering! Enjoy an olive oil flight and/or wine tasting on their outdoor patio with yard games, or in their air conditioned tasting room. Reservations are highly recommended.
One of our favorite breakfast places! You can start your day with a delicious breakfast and then do a tasting at Michael David! Michael David has a wide variety of wines but their reservations fill up fast. We recommend making a reservation for a tasting at least 2 weeks in advance.
Not into wine? No problem! Enjoy a coffee flight at inspire coffee.
Megan orders an Iced Caramel Bourbon Latte with almond milk.
Famous for their Sugar Buns, but Jonathan goes for their coffee cake! This quaint little bakery has the best bread, flakey croissants, and breakfast pastries.
This restaurant is a go-to for us! They have a wide variety of food options which makes it a great place to eat for families and groups.
Jonathan orders the Jambalaya & maple old-fashion and Megan orders the Steak sandwich with garlic fries & Ranch, and the house-made root beer.
Delicious wood fired pizza! Their menu changes every week based on what produce is in season and what the chef feels like making. They do not take reservations and it gets busy on the weekends so we recommend going early.
