Caleb is Jonathan's one and only sibling, his younger brother, with whom he shares the same competitive spirit whenever they face each other in games. He enjoys playing basketball with the guys.

Theresa is Marianne's closest friend, which is a bonus being they're sisters! She has been there through all the heartache and seasons of trials, along with being her favorite shopping buddy, and she always gives a listening ear to anything Marianne has to talk about without hesitation.

Tyler has been serving at kairos alongside both Marianne and Jonathan, and became a close friend and confidant to Jonathan. They share a small group with other men from Golden Hills, and lead in evangelical ministry around the local area doing door to door almost every Saturday morning. He is also now engaged to one of Marianne's closest friends she knew from childhood, Catelin Nance!

Marianne and Catelin met when they were little in a community Bible study, where they became friends. Since then they have reconnected on various occasions over the years, consoled each other, and shared in seasons of drama, and of dating; and even now, into the exciting season of engagement with Jonathan's good friend, Tyler O'Connor!

Justin was attending kairos before he aged out, and became Jonathan's first close friend there. They both enjoy sports and social activities- a main one being basketball.

She and Marianne connected over shared sorrow in early 2024, and since then have continued to share in their journey of blessings and hardships, and learning in God's word how sometimes they are one in the same. Mercy never fails to remind others of how great our God is, and sees the joy through the pain. FUN FACT: She happens to be the only bride's maid that is yet still SINGLE... ; )

He has been a good friend to Jonathan, and also serves the Kairos ministry in ways like providing extra snacks, and being a friendly face to remember. Michael was always inviting Jonathan to participate in group activities, and reaching out to him.

Faith is one of Marianne's closest friends and cherished sister in the Lord, and they had both been serving in Kairos for over 4 years, which is where they met, and started an art group with others in the church that had shared similar hobbies. She is now happily married to David Dyte- which is another beautiful testimony of God's love and care for us in every aspect of our lives that gives Him all the glory!

Bryan also serves as an important lead role in Kairos ministries, alongside Austin, helping to shepherd the youth and teach them about God's word. He made very good remarks about Jonathan's character during the Kairos Summer retreat of 2024, where the couple were beginning to explore the possibility of their compatibility before their first date the following Wednesday.

Sadie is one of Marianne's longest lasting friendships- from early childhood digging in the dirt at her family's farm co-op, to high school where they attended the same ministry, and even into college age as they attended Golden Hills church. She has been there for Marianne in many seasons of hardships, and always brought her bright smile to warm and cheer Marianne's heart and lighten her burden, even when she herself was burdened.

Austin is the head preacher of kairos ministries, and has made close connections to the couple separately, and was one of their strongest advocates when their love started to bloom. He also originally lead one of their joined small groups, and continues to play an active role model and respectable figure for Jonathan and Marianne.

She has known the Watson family ever since they were young, and has been like another aunt to both Caleb and Jonathan. She keeps Jonathan in check, and helps him to remember his manners when he gets too sassy with her! She has a competitive spirit and loves to play games with others.

One of Jonathan's closest friends, and a coworker of Marianne at In-N-Out burger, he serves alongside Jonathan in the setup and tear-down team with Kairos ministry. He's a pretty chill dude to hang with.

She has been in the same homeschooled circle that Marianne grew up in, though a few years her senior, so they were not very close until more recent years. Athena is now a well trusted and beloved friend and coworker, who also shares good counsel to Marianne.
