What’s the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by 16/05/2025 so we can finalize everything. We truly appreciate your prompt reply!

What is the dress code?

Black tie, with a touch of romance. We're dreaming of a timeless, elegant evening - and we would love for our guests to be part of the vision. Please wear black formal attire (yes, all black!) Think classic tuxedos, floor-length gowns and your most graceful glam. Let's create a night as beautiful and unforgettable as love itself!

Can I bring a plus-one?

We’re keeping our celebration intimate and personalized. If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes! Otherwise, we kindly ask that you come solo so we can stay within our planned headcount.

Are kids invited?

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only affair. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax and celebrate with us!

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

La Paris Estate, Franschoek, South Africa The ceremony and reception will both be held at the same location.

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know when you RSVP, and we’ll do our very best to accommodate your needs.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Our plan is to have the ceremony outdoors, surrounded by nature’s beauty—weather permitting. If the skies don’t cooperate, we’ll move the ceremony indoors to keep everyone cozy and comfortable. Please keep in mind that it will be South African winter—not freezing, but it could get a little chilly as the sun sets. A stylish jacket or wrap is a good idea, just in case!

What time does the night end?

The party officially ends at 00:00, but who knows where the night will take us? 😉

Are there accommodations nearby?

Yes! There are plenty of great accommodation options near the venue to suit a range of styles and budgets. We’ve outlined our top recommendations on the Accommodation page of our website—feel free to take a look and book what works best for you!

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Yes, absolutely! We’d love for you to capture the magic—but please do so respectfully and without blocking the view of others. After the wedding, we’d be thrilled if you shared your photos and videos with us! There will be a QR code available at the venue where you can easily upload your snaps and help us relive the day through your eyes.

What should I expect from the weather?

It’ll be South African winter—cool but generally mild. Expect sunshine during the day and cooler temperatures in the evening, so we recommend bringing a jacket or shawl just in case. We will do our best to make sure it is cosy in the venue after the ceremony.

What time does the ceremony start?

The ceremony starts at 15:00 but we would like guests to start arriving from 14:30 please.
