Jordan and Hannah met two years ago in a YSA ward in Rexburg, Idaho while attending BYUI. She was wearing a green dress and stood to be sustained for a church calling. She looked back over her shoulder, he looked forward, and their eyes met across the pews... ;).

They went on a few not-dates, a few official ones, and shared one almost-kiss before both mutually friendzoning each other. While in the friendzone, they continued to hang out, go dancing, and to the movies, study together, make food, and flirt. This continued to the point where, eight months later, when they started dating, all their friends just rolled their eyes and said "finally!"

Nearly a year and a half later, Jordan took Hannah, with some friends, on a hike to a waterfall. It rained the whole time, muddy and slippery. When they reached the waterfall, the friends mysteriously disappeared, and Jordan gave Hannah a photobook he had complied, full of photos and memories for as long as they'd known each other. At the very end of the book, Jordan bent down on one knee and asked Hannah if she would marry him. She said yes.
