The day we met - first we saw each other at the airport gate in Australia for a flight from Melbourne to Adelaide, then made eyes at each other on the plane, checked out one another at the taxi pick up area, then spotted each other at the hotel and then finally fate brought us together at the Soundwave Festival afterparty where our good friend MJ introduced us to each other. Pre-iMessage, we wrote emails and sent photos and paid exorbitant costs in international calling cards until we could see each other again....

Jordan took a whirlwind trip to Australia for 6 days to spend time together before we were apart for 4 months with Jordan on tour around the US & Europe and Marisa on a volunteer trip in Ghana

We finally had a chance to reunite in romantic Paris for a few days with Jordan flying in from Russia and Marisa flying in from Ghana with a severe case of Malaria & Giardia. But nothing would stop us from spending a day at EuroDisney and visiting the Eiffel Tower

Finally we had a chance to both relax - travelling to Las Vegas, visiting the SD Safari Park and enjoying some wonderful time with the Mancino's at Disneyland, CA!

And with most young people in love, the distance was too much and we chose to part ways. Every now and again we would check in on each other in the hopes that maybe now the time was right.

Fast forward to January 2022, Jordan & Marisa reconnected, reminisced and made a plan for the most EPIC and life changing adventure in April!

We made a decision - it was time to start our future together

Another whirlwind trip for Jordan to spend time with the Fowler's in Australia

So we did more adventuring in Australia, travelling around southern Victoria...

And then it happened, over a competitive game of Sequence...

We were engaged! 2 days later we said, 'Bye for now' until Marisa could get back to Jordan in the US again.

A month later, we were reunited in San Diego where we continue our adventures...

And decided we couldn't wait any longer to start our lives together. We were married by Elvis in Las Vegas in true Vegas style

And now we can't wait to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary / Wedding with you all in Hawaii!
