We are getting married at Big Lake Community Hall, a quaint venue located on the shores of Big Lake. The facility has bathrooms, a complete kitchen, a wrap around patio, and a rolling outdoor space. There is also a rustic campsite located 30 seconds away (please see where to stay).

The most direct route to Williams Lake from Vancouver is to take Highway 1 to Cache Creek, then Highway 97C straight there. However (as Siri can tell you), there are many alternative routes including Duffy Lake Road which takes you on the beautiful mountain stretch between Pemberton and Lillooet. Please check Drive BC prior to your journey!

For those looking to save time, there are also direct flights from YVR South Terminal to Williams Lake on Pacific Coastal and Central Mountain Airlines. Once here, car rentals are available through Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The only way to get to Big Lake is to drive. The drive takes approximately 45 minutes from Williams Lake. To get there you head south from Williams Lake on Highway 97C then turn left on to Likely Rd. From there it's a straight shot until Jones Rd on which you will turn right. Jones Rd. is unpaved and the junction will be marked (if you hit the Lake you've gone too far!). After the turn, head down Jones Rd. for about 5 minutes and you're there! Carpooling with friends or family is recommended to ensure as many people can park near the hall as possible.

Here's the truth, we love you guys! Therefore your safety is the most important thing at our event. We do not want anyone to drive home under the influence, therefore we will be providing shuttles back to Williams Lake for those not staying on site.
