Are kids invited?
Due to budget limitations and also to allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we would like to restrict children to only those in our families and those of our wedding party. Thank you for your understanding.
Do you have a wedding block reserved?
We do not have a wedding block, but we do have a list of suggested lodging accommodations. Please head to the Accommodations page on our website to find more information.
Will you have transportation arranged for us to get home after the wedding?
Your safety is our first priority. To ensure you make it home safely, we will be providing complementary Uber and Lyft codes to our guests. Please visit the Accommodations page on our website for more information.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony. The doors will open at 5:00 and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30.
Where should I park?
Parking at our venue is free. We encourage you to carpool if possible to cut down on emissions and to make parking easier. Parking is available on either side of 39th St. Please do not park on Shaw Blvd. There will be parking attendants who can tell you where to park.
What should I wear?
We want you to wear whatever makes you feel happy and confident. The dress code is semi-formal, but you are welcome at our wedding in whatever attire makes you feel good. We are just happy to celebrate with you!
What kind of food will we eat?
Our caterers have made a special meal that is customizable to your liking. We will have two main course stations, as well as appetizers during cocktail hour, wedding cake, and Ted Drewe's ice cream (for our out-of-town guests: Ted Drewe's is a beloved Saint Louis tradition).
Will there be vegetarian and vegan options?
Absolutely. We will make sure you have plenty of options to eat.
Will there be a seating chart at the reception?
There will not be a formal seating chart at the reception. Instead, we invite you to mingle with other guests and meet new people. We have so many wonderful friends and family, and we are excited for you to celebrate with us and meet each other.
Will your DJ take requests?
Our DJ will not take requests the evening of our wedding, but you will have an opportunity to request songs when you RSVP.
Can I take and post photos of the ceremony and reception on social media?
Definitely, but please be sure to give our photographers adequate space to do their job.
Do you have a wedding registry?
Our favorite wedding gift is your presence at our wedding. However, if you are still looking to get us something, we do have a registry available on our wedding website. Head to the Registry page to find out more information.
If I choose to write a check, should I make it out to Mr. and Mrs. Bailey?
Thank you for asking! Actually, Jordan is planning to keep her last name, at least for now. If you write a check, please make it out to Jeffrey Bailey and Jordan Shelton.
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
Absolutely not.
