Our Wedding

Jacob grew up in Strongsville, Ohio with 2 older brothers James and Jason, and parents Jay and Joyce. All 3 brothers graduated from Strongsville High School and then attended The Ohio State University. Jordan grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio with sister Jessica, brother Jason, and parents Barb and Jack. Jordan went to St. Vincent - St. Mary and then Ohio State, only graduating about 2.5 years behind Jacob. After Thanksgiving 2018 Jacob was getting ready to travel down to Columbus for The Game when Jordan's dating profile came across the screen. She had a picture wearing this great Browns shirt that said "We Almost Always Almost Win". They got to talking and realized they had a lot in common (not just being fans of the saddest franchise in the NFL). They agreed to meet for a first date at The Spotted Owl in Tremont on a cold Saturday in December. Jacob remembers realizing the date was also the same night as the 2018 Big Ten Championship (OSU was playing Northwestern). He even contemplated trying to reschedule but one of his good friends and roommate a the time, Ryan Akers, convinced him to go. To no surprise, the first date went great and they have been inseparable ever since. Since that first date, Jordan and Jacob moved into our first apartment on the East side, and in November 2020 bought their first home together right around the corner from the church where the ceremony will be. They are really happy that all of you will be celebrating their marriage. Without the support of family and friends they might not have gotten to this wonderful day!

Tremont is one of Cleveland’s oldest neighborhoods with a rich history dating back to the early 1800s. Today the neighborhood is known for its award-winning restaurants, lively art scene, boutique shops, scenic churches, and fun-filled events that bring the community together and attract visitors from around the region and across the country.

Back in the mid-19th century, this neighborhood donned warehouses for hardware, marine and garment businesses, as well as offices for the then-mighty iron, coal, railroad and shipping industries. Nowadays, many of the Victorian-era buildings may look the same on the outside, but are filled with steak eaters, wine drinkers, club crowds and loft dwellers.

Two Irish-American brothers with limited brewing experience. A city that shuttered its last production brewery in the early 80s. A neighborhood in need of a boost. Cleveland’s public oldest market is home to 100 vendors offering meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, baked goods, dairy, flowers, ready-to-eat foods, spices and nuts.

West Side Market

Shuffleboard has come to Cleveland! Come enjoy our Shuffleboard Arena, beer &amp; wine, cocktails and great food.&nbsp;We have indoor and outdoor shuffleboard courts, regulation shuffleboard tables and a patio.&nbsp;Courts are rented hourly and anyone can play. Our parking lot is located off of W. 47th street behind our building. Jake and some of the groomsmen highly recommend going here, and they are even part of Wednesday league night!

Forest City Shuffleboard Arena and Bar

The&nbsp;Cleveland Museum of Art, housed in a historic building dating back to 1916, displays some very precious paintings by renowned artists. You can check out the works&nbsp;of&nbsp;the Berenice Abbott, Ansel Adams and Mario Avati. After you have explored the place, stop by the cafe for refreshments

When Cleveland disc jockey Alan Freed coined the phrase “rock and roll,” he was laying the foundation for a cultural phenomenon and, incidentally, this museum. In 1986, three years after the creation of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, Cleveland became the home of the dramatic glass and steel pyramid called the Rock Hall, designed by the architect I. M. Pei. With an impressive multimedia permanent collection and continually changing temporary exhibitions, visitors can enjoy listening to songs, watching films, and looking at rock memorabilia ranging from a Cub Scout shirt worn by Jim Morrison to Madonna's bustier.
