Q + A

Do I need a passport to get into Canada?

Yes. Please ensure that you have a valid passport that does not expire within six months of your travel date. Passport applications and renewals can take up to six months, so please take care of this as soon as possible.

When should I RSVP?

Please RSVP as soon as possible to help us with our planning and preparations. There's no need to wait for the formal invitation to arrive—your early response will allow us to finalize important details to ensure everyone has a wonderful time. Your prompt reply is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Can I bring my kids?

Although we adore your children, due to the capacity limits of our wedding venue, all of our wedding events will be adults-only.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

We kindly request that you refrain from using phones or cameras during the ceremony. Our photographer will be capturing these special moments for us so that we can enjoy the ceremony with you all, distraction free!

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear to the ceremony/reception?

The attire is Black Tie. Please see the "Wedding Day Attire Inspiration" tab for more details.

What should I wear to the welcome party?

The attire is All White Cocktail. Women, please wear short or midi white dresses, white jumpsuits, or white blouses with white pants/skirts. Men, please wear white or very light khaki pants and white shirts. Please stay away from colors like champagne, beige, or taupe. For more information, please visit the "Welcome Party Attire Inspiration" tab.

Will food be provided at the Welcome Party event?

Yes, some heavy bites will be served. However, we recommend having a bite to eat before the party! See the "things to do" tab for our Toronto dinner recs and be sure to book a reservation if you can!

Do I have to stay on the boat for the entire welcome party?

Yes, the boat will be cruising for three hours and we cannot stop and offload during that time! The boat will return to the dock at 10 PM.
