Q + A

Where are we getting married exactly?

Hawaii is a state consisting of eight main islands. One of these eight islands is literally named "Hawai'i". It is the biggest of the eight main islands, and thus it is commonly referred to as "The Big Island". The Big Island is where we are getting married and are spending our time.

Which airport should I fly into?

There are two airports on the Big Island. Kailua Kona (KOA) on the west side and Hilo (ITO) on the east side. We are getting married on the west side of the island in Waikoloa, however please fly into whichever airport aligns best with your sleeping accommodations and where you will be adventuring in Hawaii. The wedding is only for one day and we want you to have an entire trip full of excitement! It is also very possible to plan your trip to stay on an entirely different island in Hawaii, and simply take a day trip flight into KOA on the actual wedding day.

Where should I stay in Hawaii?

Jordyn and Anthony will be staying in the Hilton, the same location where we are getting married. With this being said, it is a pricey hotel and you by no means have to stay there also. There are tons of hotel, Airbnb, and VRBO rental opportunities on the island. Please explore online and find what works best for you and your family. We obviously love the Big Island, but as stated previously, you are more than welcome to stay on an entirely different island and just fly into the Big Island for the wedding day if you so desire. If you know other people who are attending the wedding, feel free to reach out to one another as booking one large house for many can often be cheaper than booking a small house for a couple people. Plus, the more people to explore Hawaii with, the better!

How long should I stay in Hawaii?

Jordyn and Anthony are staying tentatively September 8th-17th, 9 nights. With that being said, you are welcome to stay as long or short as you'd like. Most people we have talked with have decided to stay for 5 to 7 days, which is a great amount of time to explore the island, relax, celebrate a wedding, and make it back home in time for work/school!

What should I wear?

We are currently in the process of figuring out what WE are going to wear! We will keep you all posted when we decide on a theme. Thank you!
