Josh had the brilliant idea of hiking 2.5 kms into the bush in Riding Mountain National Park to camp for the weekend. The forecast called for some rain but they still headed out. They had to hike through an ankle deep creek to get to the camp site and set up the tent in the rain. It was too wet to even start a fire so they went straight to bed. In the morning they woke up to 2" of heavy wet snow and quickly decided to pack up and head home. The once ankle deep creek was now halfway up their calves. The only way to get across without wet boots was to go bare foot... in the snow. Was very unpleasant in the moment but is now a fun memory!

As a child Josh and his family would go to the International Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-In Convention in Osh Kosh, Wisconsin. On their first road trip together Josh took Jordynn to Osh Kosh (and really hoped she'd enjoy it). It has now turned into one of their favourite places! Can see the Super Galaxy and F22's in the plaza and have lunch under the wing of old war birds.

Josh is a big fan of the band Foo Fighters and Wrigley Field in Chicago where the Chicago Cubs play baseball. What's better than seeing the Foo Fighters perform at Wrigley Field?

Their next yearly road trip took them through Banff, Penticton and Glacier National Park in Montana. Driving the Sea to Sky Highway is one of the most breath taking drives you can take. This photo is one of the few spots you can pull over!

Bought first house together!

The first trip by air was to Sydney Australia!! Josh's cousin was getting married, Jordynn met family for the first time and they went to Melbourne as well. The trip could not have happened at a better time as the pandemic shut everything down mere days after their return!

One of their favourite things to do while travelling is doing very gruelling hikes to the top of a mountain despite how out of shape they both are. This time was a bit different! They hiked the Sulphur skyline trail to the top where Josh gave Jordynn her favourite rock! Josh had to wait for Jordynn to finish her lunch and talk to some strangers about their dogs for a long time before he could propose! Way to make him sweat... ooops!

Engagement photos were taken in Grand Beach at Josh's family cabin. This cabin has been generational starting with his dad growing up here as a kid.

They had a Halloween themed wedding social and it was a blast!!
