Surrounding Towns
If you're up to it, visit surrounding areas accessible via public transportation! There are a lot of beautiful areas to visit outside of Alicante. Consider Altea (Emily's personal favorite), Valencia, Guadalest, Calpe, or Benidorm. Some are further than others but worth the trip if able!
Bonfire Musuem (Museo de Hogueras)
Rbla. de Mendez Nuñez, 29, 03002 Alicante, Spain
Spain celebrates via festival, Bonfires of St. John, for a week! This involves intricate and detailed wooden displays (honestly amazing work-see photo for a 2019 example) throughout the whole city that are burned the last day of the festival. This museum has some past wood art on display!
