We met using an online dating app! We talked for a few days and decided to finally meet up for drinks at Miller Ale House in Chicago Ridge! We talked for hours and hours and closed down the restaurant. It was quite a mess- not on our part, though. The waitress pulled up a chair next to us and started venting about her life. Then she left in the middle of her shift and never gave us our check! The staff forgot about us and started putting up chairs, cleaning, and turning off lights until a manager saw us in the corner. We then continued to the parking lot and talked in the car for another hour until we both realized how late it was and knew we had to leave because Matt was leaving for Nashville in the morning and Jorie had to leave for work early as well. The first date is definitely something we continue to laugh about and it was a very fitting beginning to a beautiful connection!

First little vacation! We spent a much needed getaway in Milwaukee! We went to a brewery, had a steak dinner, and tried different bars and restaurants! So much fun!
