In August of 2016, Jory was going to college at Cal State Fullerton and working at Disneyland. Matt had just started his new job as an Emergency Room Technician at Loma Linda Murrieta.

Jory added Matt on Instagram after she saw his Facebook profile and she decided that he was really cute! After a couple of days of texting, Matt asked Jory on a date to Starbucks in Temecula, CA. They met for their second date the next day and had adventures in San Marcos, CA. After their 3rd date in Fullerton, CA, Matt and Jory became inseparable.

After Jory graduated college in 2018 and Matt was accepted into Loma Linda University's Physician Assistant program, they moved in together in Moreno Valley, CA. During their times in Moreno Valley, they went on many vacations, spent days at Disneyland, and even survived a pandemic together!

Matt graduated as a Physician Assistant and was offered a job in Lake Havasu as a PA in the emergency department. Jory and Matt moved to Lake Havasu with their dog, Sadie. The 3 of them go on walks everyday, enjoying the beautiful sights of Lake Havasu.

Matt proposed to Jory (after 4 years of Jory dropping not so subtle hints) in the forest Idyllwild, CA. They were surrounded by love and celebration for the whole day.

Their wedding is 10/9/2021 at The Refuge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
