Joscelyn and Dylan met when they were 18 and 19 years old in Florence, AL. They were freshmen at the University of North Alabama living in Olive Hall. Joscelyn was outgoing and made friends with everyone in the dorms. Dylan loved showing off his guitar skills and taking his friends on late night drives. After securing her phone number at a bible study, Dylan took Joscelyn to Olive Garden for their first date. They spent every chance they could together, leading Dylan to ask Joscelyn to be his girlfriend on September 24th, 2022, in Mentone, AL on a campus ministry retreat. Over the course of the past four years, Dylan and Joscelyn have seen each other change and grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It is evident that the Lord has been preparing them to make a commitment to one another in marriage throughout their entire relationship. After finishing their third year of school and life together, Dylan proposed on August 8th, 2025 in Joscelyn's backyard, surrounded by friends, playing his guitar, of course.
