Our Wedding

Joscelyn and Dylan met when they were 18 and 19 years old in Florence, AL. They were freshmen at the University of North Alabama living in Olive Hall. Joscelyn was outgoing and made friends with everyone in the dorms. Dylan loved showing off his guitar skills and taking his friends on late night drives. After securing her phone number at a bible study, Dylan took Joscelyn to Olive Garden for their first date. They spent every chance they could together, leading Dylan to ask Joscelyn to be his girlfriend on September 24th, 2022, in Mentone, AL on a campus ministry retreat. Over the course of the past four years, Dylan and Joscelyn have seen each other change and grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. It is evident that the Lord has been preparing them to make a commitment to one another in marriage throughout their entire relationship. After finishing their third year of school and life together, Dylan proposed on August 8th, 2025 in Joscelyn's backyard, surrounded by friends, playing his guitar, of course.

Joscelyn and Kyah became friends in 2024. They met through their women's campus ministry, Delight, and ended up becoming roommates unexpectedly. They became best friends immediately after moving in together and push each other closer to Christ every day. Together they laugh, cry, and enjoy the mundane.

Joscelyn and Abby met in 2022, and she has since become a mentor and big sister figure to her, constantly pointing her in the direction of greater things spiritually, professionally, and in everyday life.&nbsp;

Joscelyn and Kenslie became friends in 2024, through their boyfriends (now husbands!), Dylan and Zach. Together, they are silly and outgoing. They love spending time together out on the town, as well as bonding over shared biblical and marital values.

Joscelyn and Brisa met in Spanish class in high school in 2019. They have stayed in touch since then despite the distance. Through an international pandemic, new and old relationships, graduating high school and college, they have been through it all together.

Joscelyn and Maggie met through Kyah in 2024. Maggie was Kyah's hometown friend who would come to visit every couple of months, and through that, Joscelyn and Maggie grew closer and closer. They love to laugh in everything they do together. Maggie is a blessing that the Lord brought to Joscelyn through Kyah.

Joscelyn and Leah met in 2022 at Dylan's hometown church. Leah went to UNA a year later, where Joscelyn reached out to show her around Florence and invited her to Delight. Their friendship has grown and become a beautiful testament of Godly friendship.

Joscelyn and Audrey met in 2022 as freshmen in college. They briefly met, but later connected through Delight and became close quickly. They love sitting in the car talking about anything and everything, especially how the Lord is working in their lives.

JD is Dylan’s built in best friend and brother from the same mother. They are four years apart and have grown closer to one another as they have gotten older. They love to talk about, listen to, and play everything bluegrass. JD’s life was changed when Dylan took him to his first Billy Strings concert. Neither of them have been the same since.

Ethan and Dylan met when they were very young, while attending a music camp close to where they grew up. As their families grew closer, so did Ethan and Dylan’s friendship. They have grown up together and have seen each other at their highest and lowest. Life wouldn’t be the same for Dylan without Ethan.

Zach was Dylan's freshman year resident assistant while living in the dorms. While they didn't hit it off immediately, they began to share a common interest in growing spiritually. Zach started going to a Bible Study that Dylan was leading, and through this experience, Dylan began to disciple Zach, growing them to be inseparable. This friendship with Zach is central to Dylan's spiritual maturity and formation.

Riley and Dylan met at the Florence Chick-fil-A, where Riley was taken aback by Dylan’s unabashed ability to know everything! Since then, Dylan has mellowed and humbled, and his friendship with Riley has only grown stronger. They challenge each other and push one another to grow in every area of life. In college, many friend groups come and go — not Dylan and Riley.

Dylan met Micah through their mutual friend, Zach. Dylan and Zach were a source of strength for Micah as he navigated living independently and becoming his own man. Micah was spiritually interested when he met Dylan, and since then, Dylan has discipled Micah and is proud to say that even though he is a goofball, he has made some progress.

Alex and Dylan have known each other since elementary school. They became closer when Dylan moved back to Hubbertville High School in 8th grade. Alex and Dylan have a superb ability to bring the nerd out of one another. They love to play card games and, along with their friends in high school, were the butt of many jokes. Alex followed Leah to college at UNA, where Dylan and Joscelyn met, allowing them to stay in close contact with one another. Dylan was also Alexs best man!

Wyatt grew up with Riley in Athens, AL. When Riley moved to UNA, Dylan connected with some of Riley's friends from high school, Wyatt being one of them. Wyatt soon transfered to UNA and became Dylan's roommate. As Wyatt began to grow in his faith, Dylan helped foster that development. They have become close friends and share many of the same interests.
