Jose & Julia first met at Bottles, Blocks and Books where they attended daycare. They enjoyed many field trips and hours on the playground. This was the start of their 12 years as classmates.

Julia and Jose had their first official date at Junior Prom where they were both on the Prom Court. Jose felt very cool driving his dad's Jeep.

In 2016, Julia graduated from Mizzou. One year later, Jose graduated from UMSL.

Jose & Julia made the most of slow pace living during the thick of the Covid 19 Pandemic. Tasks like grocery shopping and working from home were more fun together.

Jose and Julia have so much enjoyed traveling to new cities together! Some of their favorite trips include Los Angeles, Denver, Scottsdale, Copper Mountain, Key West, and Las Vegas.

Jose asked Julia to marry him on a beautiful spring day in Forest Park. Julia's best friend Rianne coordinated the most romantic set-up and hid in the bushes to capture the moment.
