Tenuta di Monaciano is an estate that sits on a vineyard in the Chianti region of Siena Italy. It is approximately a 20 minute drive from the city center of Siena. This estate has a main villa, as well as four country houses that are situated on the grounds, surrounding the main villa. These country houses are all 15-20 minutes walking distance to the main villa.

The Country Houses of Monaciano are Poggio, Bistolfo, Piturnella & Cellolino.

Each Country House is made up of spacious, individual apartments that sleep 2 -5 people. Each apartment has a kitchen, living area and bathroom.

There is a Pool located at Poggio for everyone to enjoy, as well as picnic and BBQ areas around the estate to take in the vineyard views.

It is best to think of these accommodations like an Airbnb or home rental. This is not a hotel with room service. You can expect the following to be included in your stay:

· Clean Linens & Toiletries provided at the start of your stay

· Wifi

· Onsite Parking

When you first arrive to Monaciano, there will be a reception desk set up in the main villa and a team to help facilitate check-in. All guests staying on site will be pre-registered for their rooms, so the Monaciano team will provide you with your room key and direct you on where to go.

There are laundry rooms in each of the farmhouses that guests are welcome to use. If you plan to go in the pool, you are welcome to bring your own towel, or you can rent a towel from Monaciano. Towel rentals are a €20 (€10 rental fee and €10 deposit that you receive back when the towel is returned). Please keep in mind, power outlets in Italy are different than those in the US, therefore it is important to bring power adapters with you (like this one: Buy on amazon )

Lastly, and very importantly, we strongly encourage those staying on site to rent a car OR arrange with other friends/family that are staying on site to share a rental car. There is plenty of parking on site and this allows for you to explore the absolutely stunning surrounding area, as well as visit the city of Siena, when there is down time in between wedding events.
