For those who are not staying on site, there is a bus that will pick up all guests and bring to the Villa for the wedding festivities on October 4th.

The closest airports to Siena are in Pisa (Pisa Galileo Galilei airport) and Florence (Florence Peretola airport). Please note, there are no direct flights from NY to these airports, therefore flying to these airports require a connecting flight.

You can also fly to Rome, Milan, or Venice. There are direct flights from NY to these airports, however it's a further option to Siena. The quickest route from the airport to the main villa would be to rent a car, but public transport is easily accessible.

Italiarail.com (Here) is a great website to use when booking train tickets and traveling from one major city to the next.

From Pisa Airport: Take the S1 'Pisa Mover' shuttle from the airport to Pisa Centrale Train Station. Pisa Mover tickets can be purchased at the shuttle station.

At Pisa Centrale, grab a ticket to Siena (you will need to change over in Empoli).

(Journey Time: ~ 2 -3 hours)

From Florence Airport: Take the T2 train from the airport to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and take a direct train to Siena.

(Journey Time: ~ 2 - 2.5 hours)

From Rome Airport: Get on the train from the airport to Roma Termini. This ride will take approx 30 minutes.

Get off at the stop: Roma Termini

Transfer to a Frecciarossa train that travels from Roma Termini to Firenze Santa Maria Novella. This ride will take approx 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Get off at the stop: Santa Maria Novella

Transfer to a regional train that travels from Santa Maria Novella to Siena. This ride will take approx 1 hour and 30 minutes.

From Siena’s train station you can easily reach Monaciano by taxi.

From the South

- Take the highway A1 Roma/Firenze, exit at Valdichiana

- Take road no. 326 Bettolle-Siena, exit at Siena Est

- Continue towards Viale P. Toselli then take road no. 408 to Montevarchi until Ponte a Bozzone

From the North

- Take the highway A1 Roma-Firenze, exit at Firenze Impruneta

- Take the freeway Firenze-Siena, exit at Siena Nord

- Follow the signs to the train station, continue towards Viale P. Toselli, then take road no. 408 to Montevarchi until Ponte a Bozzone

- Once arrived in Ponte a Bozzone, leave the SP 408, turn left and continue on Via della Certosa (direction Pontignano).

- After 100 meters turn left again (blue sign ' Monaciano '), and follow the driveway to the Parking & Reception Office.
