Joseph and Kenzie meet through mutual friends during undergrad at The University of South Carolina. They begin dating March 7, 2019.

Joseph and Kenzie graduate in May of 2019. In June 2019, Kenzie moves to Savannah, beginning their first round of long-distance, which would last for almost two years.

Trip to Nashville, not knowing we would one day live here.

Trip to Utah.

In May 2021, Joseph and Kenzie moved to Colorado for a few months while Joseph prepared for grad school. Their second round of long-distance began in August when Joseph moved to Nashville after being accepted into perfusion school, and Kenzie joined him in October.

We got our baby Riggs (family picture from Thanksgiving 2023).

August 2021 - May 2023: Living in Nashville while Joseph attends grad school at Lipscomb University. Third (and hopefully last!) round of long-distance during Joseph’s clinicals.

Joseph graduates from perfusion school.

We move back to Columbia.

Trip to Canada.

We buy our first home together.

Joseph proposes at the Night of a Thousand Candles event at Brookgreen Gardens.

March 2025, Kenzie gets accepted into CRNA school and begins classes in May.

September 2025 wedding planning finally begins! Mr. and Mrs. Scott coming May 2, 2026!
