Let’s take it back to the beginning. Our first picture (on the first day we met) at Boots and Hearts 2016. Josh told Mikaela “I’m going to make you my girlfriend”, and I guess you could say he got his way.

July 2017 marked our first international trip together, where Mik jumped on a plane to Finland to watch Josh in the 2017 Euros, representing England.

Another trip in the books! This time we headed to Panama with the whole Gilray fam and close friends. Note the brutal sunburns after one too many drinks and not enough sunscreen.

Our next trip landed us in NYC for Mik’s 25th birthday. Despite being severely hungover, Josh dragged Mik out of bed to visit the Empire State Building which ended up being pretty cool.

Our first of many trips to Bench Brewing! It quickly became a favourite spot for when we were visiting the area to see Mik’s dads. Any excuse to hit up a patio during COVID, right?

One of our most exciting years yet! We closed on our first house and began making it a home. We knew it wouldn’t be complete until..

The day we brought Riggs home. It’s been nonstop laughter and love with this pup since, even when he’s chewing Ray Bans and Mik’s favourite shoes, the dog has good taste I guess.

We headed East with Mik’s fam to celebrate Riley’s 30th birthday. First trip after COVID and it made for a good one! Lots of Keith’s and lobster rolls were consumed.

Our best trip yet! Mik surprised Josh with a trip to Mexico for his 30th birthday, so Josh returned the surprise by proposing a couple days in! It only took 7 years and an hour of him tripping over his words to get there. Regardless, it made for our favourite memory so far, until July 27th 2024 that is.
