1. Wedding Day Details
When is the wedding?
September 20, 2025. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM.
Where is the venue?
The Sutherland, Wake Forest, NC
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes.
What is the dress code?
Black tie optional. This means that guests are welcome to wear formal attire, such as a tuxedo or long gown, but it’s not required. A dark suit and tie or a cocktail dress are perfectly appropriate as well.
What time should guests arrive?
Arrive no later than 4:45 PM. Ceremony will be at 5:00 PM.
Are children invited?
Older children (8+) are welcome. Only small children (infants and toddlers) who are immediate family and part of the ceremony may attend.
2. Accommodations & Travel
Where should I stay?
Hotels are recommended in the "Travel" tab. There are also numerous airbnb options in the area.
Is there a room block?
Yes! Please see the Travel tab.
How do I get to the venue?
You may drive and park at the venue, however we recommend ride-sharing services such as Uber/Lyft or taxi for those consuming alcoholic beverages.
3. Registry
Where are you registered?
Currently, we are only registered online (see the Registry tab). We are currently only accepting cash gift contributions to our honeymoon fund.
4. Ceremony & Reception
What should I expect at the ceremony?
The ceremony will be traditional and last approximately 30 minutes. Reception to follow.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! The open bar will serve beer & wine.
Will there be dancing?
Yes! The dancefloor will open following dinner and music will be played be a DJ.
5. Miscellaneous
Can I bring a date?
Your official invitation will specify if you have been awarded a plus-one. Plus-ones may be limited due to guest list constraints.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will be indoors. There is a contingency plan in case of adverse weather conditions.
What happens after the ceremony?
Following the ceremony will be the reception: dinner, drinks, & dancing!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
No. We will have a professional photographer/videographer during the ceremony. You are welcome to take photos during any other time.

6. Our Story
Where did you two meet?
We met in Greenville, NC and moved to Raleigh. Read more about our story in the "Our Story" tab.
Who proposed and how?
Josh surprised Anna with a proposal on April 18, 2024 at Trunk Bay, St. John. They were surrounded by close friends and the beautiful scenery of the most photogenic beach in the world.
7. Honeymoon
Where are you going to go for your honeymoon?
We will be taking a 10-day Mediterranean cruise around Turkey, the Greek Isles, & Egypt. We will finish our honeymoon in Italy.
