Wedding Party

Amanda Elder
Amanda Elder - Maid of Honor
Amanda and I met the day my parents brought her home from the hospital. My sister and I honestly are quite opposite in most ways. However one thing about us has always stayed the same, and that is regardless of our sister rivalry, we will always have each other's backs. Amanda truly has the biggest heart of anyone I know and with us only being a year apart, we have been through almost every season of life together. This is why I am so excited to have her by my side as I enter into this new season of marriage! Thank you Amanda for being the best sister I could've asked for and for always making me laugh, caring for me, being one of my biggest supporters, and now taking on the responsibilities of my Maid of Honor!
Megan Sutherland
Megan Sutherland - Bridesmaid
Megan and I met about 5 years ago through her cousin/my best friend, Montanna. Megan became Montanna and my roommate and we quickly became close friends after quoting "Hot Rod" and talking about Jesus. Megan is one of those friends that you could laugh with, cry with, sing with, and do life with and never get bored. Megan and I got to be roommates throughout our singleness, dating, and engagements which made for some amazing memories. Megan, I am so excited to have been your Bridesmaid and for you to now be mine!
Montanna Lattin
Montanna Lattin - Bridesmaid
Montanna and I met about 7 years ago when we both worked at the same preschool, where we quickly became best friends. We lived together for about 5 years in 3 different places with multiple different roommates. We have been through thick and thin together and our friendship only grows stronger. Some of my favorite memories with Montanna include camping, off-roading, going country swing dancing, our California trips, lake days, country concerts, and our many road trips up north. Montanna, thank you for being that friend that I can always count on. I am beyond excited to have you as my Bridesmaid!
Amber Trujillo
Amber Trujillo - Bridesmaid
Amber and I met about 6 years ago through our mutual friend, Montanna. We instantly became friends and shortly after rented our first apartment with Montanna. I got to watch as Amber began dating her now husband and have been able to watch her become an amazing mother to her baby girl. I was honored to be a bridesmaid at her wedding, and now I'm excited to have her as one of mine. Amber, I love that we've been friends throughout such pivotal seasons of our lives and that you'll be a major part of mine and Josh's wedding as a Bridesmaid!
Sarah Lago
Sarah Lago - Bridesmaid
Sarah and I became friends back in high school when she walked over to me in forensics class and introduced herself. We immediately became friends and started going to a Bible study together at a coffee shop after school once a week. Sarah's high energy, joyfulness, and incredibly wise Jesus-loving self made it obvious that this would be a great friendship. Sarah and I have remained friends throughout all of the changes that life brought us after high school. We've been sky diving together, went on a spontaneous trip to New York, and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. Sarah, thank you for always being that friend that I can count on to talk about Jesus, have honest and real life conversations with, for always being down for random adventures, and for now being a Bridesmaid!
Jacquie Freeman
Jacquie Freeman - Bridesmaid
Jacquie is my soon-to-be sister! Within the first year of knowing each other, we have already gone to Universal Studios, Disneyland, and Hawaii together. Jacquie's love for all things Harry Potter and Disney made it hard for me to not immediately get along with her. Her family-loving, determined, and incredibly supportive personality makes me beyond excited to have her as another sister. Jacquie, thank you for always being there to answer questions and sharing your wedding expertise with Josh and me and for choosing to stand with us on our wedding day as a Bridesmaid!
Jessica Freeman
Jessica Freeman - Bridesmaid
Jessica is my other soon-to-be sister! The first time I met Jess was when she had come home to surprise her family for Thanksgiving. The first interaction with Jess made it very clear that her infectious, genuine, and easy-going personality would be hard not to love. The second time I got to spend with Jess was visiting her with the family in Maui. Seeing her passion for the ocean, her adorable kitten, and her amazing community there made it super easy to get to know her. Jess, thank you for always being so welcoming and authentic. I am stoked to be able to call you a sister and to have you as a Bridesmaid!
Emily Hagstrom
Emily Hagstrom - Bridesmaid
Emily and I met when we got assigned to coach a group of high school students together at CCV. We immediately clicked and our complementary personalities made us a great team. Sadly, shortly after our first CIY camp with our students, Emily and her husband moved to Georgia. Emily and I have the unique relationship where the majority of our friendship has been states apart. However, that has never stopped us from always being there for each other and for continually picking up where we left off, regardless of how long it's been since our last visit or FaceTime call. Thank you Emily for always being a call away and for praying, supporting, and cheering me and Josh on throughout our relationship. Thank you for taking time, despite raising your four boys, to be my Bridesmaid!
Vanessa Piper
Vanessa Piper - Bridesmaid
Vanessa and I met at GCU when we both attended a 3-week mission trip to Kenya. Vanessa is one of the most kind-hearted and genuine people I have ever met and I knew we had to be friends. I honestly feel like we became best friends from the moment we met. After that trip, we've been on a crazy road trip to an orphanage in Mexico, been to California multiple times, and I even got to go to her college graduation in Colorado. We've been best friends, coworkers, and roommates. Thank you Vanessa for always praying for me, encouraging me, and truly being an incredible friend to me. I am so grateful for your friendship and to have you by my side on my wedding day as a Bridesmaid!
Kaitlyn Smith
Kaitlyn Smith - Bridesmaid
Kaitlyn and I met when we were both preschool teachers together. Kaitlyn makes everyone around her feel valued and cared for and it was no different with me. Throughout our friendship I can't begin to count the times where she has encouraged me, provided wise and Biblical advice, challenged me, supported me, and has made me laugh. Kaitlyn and her husband Austin have been one of my and Josh's biggest supporters from the beginning of our relationship until now. Even though they are now in Washington and we are still in Arizona, we are determined to not let that ruin our strong friendship. Kaitlyn, thank you for all of the amazing memories and for always being there for Josh and I. I am so excited to have you there on our wedding day to support us as a Bridesmaid!
Ben Custodio
Ben Custodio - Best Man
Ben and I met 23 years ago in Tiger Cubs back in Brentwood. Proverbs 18:24 shares that there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, and I am honored that I can call Ben my brother, even if he does come from another mother. From scout trips, twelve years of school together, childhood sword fights in his cul-de-sac, middle school fist fights we can no longer remember the cause of, a cabin trip to Idaho, his marriage to his amazing wife Kristen, and through my entire relationship with Emily, we have been through every season of life together. Ben, while we do not share parents, you will always be my brother, and no matter the time or miles between us, you have always been there for me. I am so honored to now have you in the role of my Best Man; just don't Fredo me at the altar like I did to you, even if you would be justified in doing so!
Jay Quitmeyer
Jay Quitmeyer - Best Man
Jay and I met eleven years ago during my freshman year at ASU the very first day I went to Hope Church. Through doing Bible studies, Lord of the Rings marathons, prank wars while living together, and ministry together, he has become one of my closest friends and brothers that you can't help but to love. As a husband to his wife, Emily, and now a father to their beautiful daughter, Jay always finds the time to answer a call or text and be there for constant support, encouragement, or just for a good laugh. Jay, God sure knew what he was doing the day you rolled up on your longboard and showed me what it was like to have joy from the Lord. Thank you for your brotherhood over these years and for now being a Best Man!
Caleb Duhaime
Caleb Duhaime - Groomsman
Caleb and I met ten years ago during my sophomore year at ASU while at church. From doing ministry together, leading Bible studies, going to Ireland, living together, working together, and delving into Dungeons & Dragons together, we have been through a lot. He is a brother who has always stuck by my side and has been there for me no matter what season of life I have found myself in. Caleb, you have been a constant, steadfast friend and brother over the years and I am so excited to have you as a Groomsman!
Jonny Ingram
Jonny Ingram - Groomsman
Jonny and I met my freshman year at ASU when I started doing video editing for our church. He has become a constant mentor in my life and has brought me into his experience of marriage and fatherhood as his and his wife Hillary's younger brother and honorary uncle to their three kids. Jonny, you have gotten to see me at my best and my worst and have constantly helped me to see God through it all. Thank you for being the older brother and mentor I needed and for now being a Groomsman!
Nick Scharnitzke
Nick Scharnitzke - Groomsman
Nick and I met roughly nine years ago when he was dating a close friend of mine, Ashley, whom he is now married to. From going to concerts, dove hunting, barbecues, engaging in healthy college football rivalries, we have never been short of things to do. Nick, thank you for the constant brotherhood and friendship over these years and for being a great example of a husband and now father, and for being a Groomsman!
Josh Miller
Josh Miller - Groomsman
Josh, aka Miller, and I met about nine years ago during his freshman year at ASU. Quickly becoming the younger brother I never asked for but God knew I needed, Miller has always been down for a good whiskey, cigar, and delving into conversations about faith, firearms, and freedom. Miller, thank you for the constant laughs about Grandpa Joe, the constant prayers, and for being a Groomsman!
Ryan Aslan
Ryan Aslan - Groomsman
Ryan and I met during my time as Safety Director at Grace Community Church in Tempe. After being "adopted" by his mom and siblings, he and his wife Desirae have become a source of constant laughs, encouragement, and support over these last five years. Thank you Ryan for the constant late nights of delving into all things nerd related and politics and celebrating this day as a Groomsman!
Dan D'Ippolito
Dan D'Ippolito - Groomsman
Dan and I met our freshman year at ASU eleven years ago at Hope Church. From attending church, doing Bible studies together, living together, volunteering and working together, and now venturing into furniture building, we have developed a strong friendship over the last decade. Thank you Dan for putting up with my Batman decorations in our office for two years and for now being a Groomsman!
Justin Maenner
Justin Maenner - Groomsman
Justin and I met nine years ago through Hope Church and our student organization Man Up. From serving alongside him as his Vice President, living with him, doing ministry with him, and having him and his wife Julia as part of mine and Emily's premarital team, he has been a constant brother who will always ask the hard questions. Justin, even though you know deep down Batman will always be better than Superman, I am so excited to have you a part of mine and Emily's wedding day as a Groomsman!
Austin Smith
Austin Smith - Groosman
Austin and I met last year when Emily introduced me to both him and his wife Kaitlyn. He and I immediately hit it off and he became another younger brother I was not anticipating. Whether it be our love of country, a good beer, discussing the merits of various game series or movies, or having a healthy competitive game night with Emily and his wife, Austin is a man always down for a good time. Austin, thank you for the years of friendship to Emily, and now to myself, and for being one of my Groomsmen!
