Floating the Staunton River
If you'll be around all weekend, consider doing a classic Dillard weekend activity: floating the river! Call Madison at 434-420-4727 if you're interested in doing this while you're in town and she'll give you the low down on the best places to put your kayak or canoe in.
Lynchburg Community Market
The Lynchburg Community Market would be a fun Saturday morning activity and is right across the street from one of our favorite coffee shops: The White Hart Cafe.
English Park
English Park has several miles of walking trails along the river. Absolutely gorgeous place to eat lunch and walk!

Several of our family members and friends are staying here. It is less than 30 minutes from our venue and conveniently located in Lynchburg. A great choice!

This is one of our very favorite places to stay in Lynchburg! Located in downtown Lynchburg, the rooms are spacious with gorgeous views. The hotel offers a rooftop bar as well as a steakhouse on the bottom level. You can't go wrong with The Virginian!

Another Josh & Madison FAV! The Craddock Terry embodies everything we love about Virginia. It is classic and offers the coziest rooms with exposed brick walls. If you stay here, visit The Ploughcroft Tea Room across the street!
