Just like most siblings, Beka and mine is a story of evolvement. When we were young, we would fight A LOT. We fought over anything and everything. Seeing this, many people would tell us that; one day, we would become best friends. At the time, I think we both knew we would love each other forever - because after all, we are family. What we didn't know, was just how right they were. As we grew up, Beka went from the person I would fight about everything with, to the person I wanted to do everything with. The person I wanted to tell everything to and the person I could most count on. If you asked me who Beka was when I was six, I would tell you "Beka is my big sister." If you asked me now, I would tell you Beka is my soul sister, my best friend, my person. And yet, those still seem like understatements. I am incredibly honored to stand next to her and even more I am so excited to celebrate her and see her shine on her big day!

I’m Garrett, Joey’s favorite youngest older brother! Though he tries to outdo me, I’m the true life of the party in the Horejsi family. Joey and I love to debate music even though one of us is clearly the tastemaker, but I love him anyway. I am thrilled to be celebrating with Joey and Beka, and ecstatic to be inviting her into our lives! See y’all on the dance floor!

How do you begin to talk about someone you’ve known since their literal day-one, your very first little sister? Beka, even when we were tiny little gremlins, has always been one of the kindest, sweetest, gentlest, and most determined people I’ve ever met. We’ve been teammates both in sport and as sisters, and she continues to be the first person I ask when I need someone in my corner. I can always count on her to braid my hair, be my sounding board, or go on a cross-country adventure. I am so incredibly honored to be a part of her and Joey’s wedding, and I can’t wait to see how the two of them grow together!

Joey and I have been brothers and buddies since his birth. I also happen to be the most like Joe in many ways; for better and worse! Some of our commonalities include a good taste in food, our shared faith, and our love for football. I'm thankful Joe is my brother and am so excited to add Beka to the Horejsi fam (and my wife and daughters are excited to have another amazing sister and aunt!) Joe and Beka, you make a great pair and care for each other so well. You have already learned and grown with each other so much. My family and I are excited for you now and for your futures together! Beka and I have been friends for as long as I can remember. We first met in gymnastics over 15 years ago and have remained best friends ever since. Whether it be getting lost in the woods in Colorado, jet skiing in Florida, a simple FaceTime to catch up, or a quick lunch date, I can always count on Beka to brighten my day. I am so thankful to have a friend like Beka in my life. It has been so amazing seeing Beka and Joeys love story unfold. They couldn’t be more perfect for one another and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store. Cheers to the happy couple!!

Hello, hello! I'm Jordan, Joey's eldest brother and I'm so proud and excited that Joey and Beka are getting married. Joey's light-hearted and joyful nature brings happiness and excitement with him every where he goes. Beka fits right in with her kindness and gentle nature. Beka and I met on the SCSU swim and dive team. I quickly became fortunate enough to call my teammate my best friend. Beka and I lived together for 3 years and made countless memories and went on many adventures. I’ve gotten the privilege to meet Joey along the way and I could not be more happy for the two of them.

Joey and I met when we were kids, and immediately we formed a strong dislike for one another. Some time later we became best friends. Now I can’t imagine life without him and I am so happy he is marrying Beka.

The first time I met Beka, I knew of her as "that really good diver from Foley" you could say I was intimidated by her. However, when I started diving at SCSU theeeeeee Beka Stone was there. This is where I learned she is about as far from intimidating as a person can get. We quickly became friends and then also roommates. We spent countless nights hanging out at our dining room table playing games, painting, and of course doing homework. So so many memories from that dining room table.😂 Now, when it comes to Joey... Our first "encounter" with him was when he was going to give Beka a birthday present and she met him in the parking lot of our apartment for that. It just so happened our living room window had a perfect view of the parking lot. So, Alyssa and I sat and stared out the window to see this mystery Joey guy from church camp. Who would have thought this was just the first of many times we would see Joey!! I absolutely cannot wait to be part of their big day!! Here's to a lifetime of love and happiness!! Joey and I met in college as roommates, even though we grew up just a town away. We lived in Grand Forks together for a couple years and made a ton of memories in the process. Joey is like a brother to me and I am blessed to be so close to him.

My husband I went on many adventures with Joey and Beka. Our adventures have taken us through the scenic landscapes of Minnesota and Wisconsin, from the candle-lit paths of the Minnesota Zoo to indulging in the delightful cheese curd festival of Ellsworth, WI. We've shared the warmth of campfires and explored the shores of Bonaire, creating a tapestry of shared experiences that define our journey together. Their interaction throughout our adventures serves as a testament to their ability to navigate the greatest adventure of all – a selfless and loving marriage.

Joey and I share a long history, having grown up together within the embrace of our church community. Our connection flourished as we dedicated ourselves to serving the church. Throughout the years, my wife and I developed a profound closeness with both Joey and Beka. Our shared experiences include countless nights filled with board games, movie marathons, and laughter, creating memories we will always treasure.

Although I initially knew Beka as “Tina’s older sister” and spent years looking up to her (and still do), we inevitably grew close over the years and have since become good friends. Beka is the most radiant person and never fails to extend love to those around her. She’s truly the sister I never had! I met Joey through church events back in highschool. He continues to be wholehearted and I have no doubt that he is the perfect match for Beka. I feel so lucky to have watched their love grow and can’t wait to continue doing so. Hi All! My name is Cass and I have known Beka for 6 years. Becoming roommates on a whim turned out to be the best decision we ever made. We first met at North Crest, truly my second family, my home away from home in IL. Beka quickly became my “big sister” that I’ve always dreamed of having. She is my rock, my biggest supporter, and someone I can’t imagine doing life without. Being apart of her family has been the biggest blessing I could ask for. I’m so excited to celebrate her and Joey!!

I first met Joey through hanging out with the LaBorde’s. We quickly became good friends through our usual shenanigans such as fishing, hunting, and airsoft. Eventually he brought Beka out to one of our bonfires and we all thought he was an idiot for not trying to bring her around any sooner.

Hi I’m DJ, I met Joey at church and he said that he would buy me food if I would hang out with him. I wasn’t going to deny free food, so here I am 14 years later still getting free food. I am so glad to see Joey find the woman of his dreams.

Hello, I'm Daniel. Joey and I have known each other longer than we've known how to walk. We spent a good portion of our childhood beating each other up in the church nursery. Sometime around the age of 10 or 12 we realized that we couldn't remember why we hated each other. So, like what usually happens after boys are done punching each other, we ended up being friends for life. Since then, we've been on many adventures (and misadventures), worked together, and shared many of the learning experiences that come with growing up. So now as one chapter comes to an end, I am excited to be here with Joey and Beka as they include us all in the introduction to their story. And I must say that I'm excited to see where it goes from here, because this is going to be a good one.

I worked with Joey for about three years before we started talking and hanging out. Disappointing, because that’s three more years I could have been seen as the funny friend. But honestly, he’s helped me get through a lot and Beka couldn’t have found a better guy to spend her life with. Also, She brought me lunch one time so I guess she’s pretty great too.
