The Haymarket is located just two blocks west of Embassy Suites (8th and P Street). Here you’ll find a wide variety of nice restaurants, trendy bars, and shops. Every Saturday morning from 8am-12pm during the summer, there is a local farmer’s market.


Feeling like the party should continue after the reception? Lets head over to the Haymarket area. We recommend downloading the Uber app and setting up your payment details so that you are able to get a safe ride back if you choose not to walk!

Hurts Donuts is in the same building as our reception! Better yet, they are open 24/7. Whether you want a sweet treat before you head home after the reception or want to grab a dozen to take back home, we highly recommend trying them!

Like sushi? This is one of our favorite sushi restaurants! There is all day happy hour on Sundays. A great place to grab some lunch before leaving town.
