Embarkment day. Items that should be carried on?

Identification (passport/passport card).

Bag – This bag is in case you or your family would like to get into the pool right away. Change of clothes. The bag will also be used to hold items on sea day or when we are at a port.

Medication – All medications needed for the trip. This also includes sleeping devices.

Cash (casino, tip at the end of the cruise, Mexico Port).


If you plan on bringing alcohol, bottled water or soda that must be carried on with you.

When is the wedding?

The wedding takes place on March 31, 2026 on Royal Caribbeans private island . Time of Ceremony is TBH at this time but it will be early due to it getting to hot later in the day.

When should I arrive in Miami?

We highly recommended arriving to Miami the night before the ship departure (March 29, 2026). You can also fly into Fort Lauderdale, if the price is cheaper. It is about a 40 minute ride to Miami.

What items are prohibited onboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship?

Can you bring alcohol on the cruise?

You may bring one (1) sealed 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne, per person of drinking age. Please see link for additional information.

Can we decorate our door or room?

Yes, the doors and walls are magnetic. You can always just tape if you have paper decorations.

Are there any special days other then the wedding?

On every Royal Caribbean cruise there are special nights. Captains Dinner - Formal wear. This is where you can get all dressed up. Tropical Night - Bring out your best tropical wear. White night - ladies, dress like you are the bride. LOL. Please see Dress Code tab for theme nights

Anything specific we should bring?

These are suggested items. They have made cruising a little easier. John is a less is better person but Juana is a better be safe person.

- Luggage Tags. Royal will provide a paper tag that can be printed. Since they are paper, there is a chance that it can get ripped.

- Clear ID card holder with or without a lanyard. You will not be needing cash or your card while on the ship. You sea pass is all you need.

- Magnetic Hooks. These can be on the wall. Hold hats, bags, lanyards.

- Multi USB/C plug. Royal is no longer accepting power surge or extension cords. They can only be multi usb/usb c. Please see suggest Amazon list for a photo.

- Reef Safe Sunscreen - if you are getting off the ship in Mexico, they will check. This is my favorite, plus its also allergy safe. Pipette Mineral Sunscreen,

- Towel Holders - there are 2 sea days and these will help with holding your towel down so it doesn't fly away.

Can others join?

You are more then welcome to invite others to join the cruise. Due to limited space at our venue, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on the wedding invitation.

How long is the ceremony?

The ceremony will between 30 -45 minutes. We do ask that all phone are put away during the ceremony. Once the ceremony is compete, we will only be taking photos with the Bridal Party, Immediate Family (parents and siblings), and us with the kids.

When will the reception be?

The reception will take place on Wednesday, April 1 at Star Lounge When we do have the reception that is when all other photos will be taken. Additional family photos, Bridal Party with their families and friends.

Are we able to eat at Specialty Restaurants?

Yes, you can certainly eat there. We do have dinner scheduled every night at 5:30 pm in the Main Dinning Room. You do not have to join us, it is what we scheduled for the group.
