Jueli and Kun met during their first year in pharmacy school together. He looked at her from across the bar and knew he had to talk to her; she quickly realized that she had found a soulmate in him. Since then, Jueli and Kun have moved to Beantown Boston, where they share a love of food, game nights, and travel. They can't wait to start the next chapter of their lives together!

On Chinese New Year, February 17, 2018, Kun convinced Jueli to take a long stroll by the cold waters of Brooklyn, NY in the midst of a light snow storm. He brought her to the beautiful and historic Jane's Carousel, where she was told that she would be part of a promotional video for the carousel. Unbeknownst to her, it was all a ruse. While they were riding on the carousel, the classic carousel melody turned into a touching love song as they were joined by friends and family from all over the country (and even Canada!). It was such a special moment for the both of them as they celebrated their engagement amongst their closest loved ones.
