Can I attend the Mass if I am not Catholic?
Absolutely, we want you to share this special day with us. We kindly ask that you abstain from receiving the Eucharist during the wedding Mass, as this is reserved for practicing Catholics only. If you would like, you may approach the altar during this time with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing.
Can I bring a plus one?
While we would love for everyone to be able to bring a guest or a plus one, we are restricted in the number of guests per our venue. We have put much thought and effort into our guest list. We truly hope no one feels left out. We hope you understand. We also understand if you feel you cannot attend unless your plus one can attend. If your guest's name isn't on our RSVP list, please contact us and we'll see if we can accommodate.
Are children allowed at the reception?
Absolutely! This is a day for families and we would love for your kids to be part of this day of celebration!
Are you having an Unplugged Ceremony?
We kindly ask that when you arrive at the church for the Mass and Ceremony that you silence or turn off your cell phone, tablet, or camcorder. We, as Catholics, believe that the Mass is one of the most sacred moments in our lives and is the re-presentation of Christ's sacrifice on Calvary. Cell phones and similar devices can be a means of distraction and we would love for you to be fully immersed in the sacrament alongside us.
At the reception we would love for you to be able to capture this joyous celebration! Pictures and videos are most welcomed there.
Is there a dress code?
Dress code is semi-formal or dressy casual.
Please be aware that our venue has a wooden barn floor. There are several uneven spots and very small holes that a heel could catch and break, so please plan footwear accordingly.
