Sara and Julia’s friendship started when Julia was getting babysat by Sara’s mom. Since that time, Sara and Julia have been besties, keeping busy playing Crash Bandicoot, making up dance routines, or scrapbooking. As they got older, activities changed to wine tours and concerts, including their old favorite Shania Twain. When Julia got engaged, she knew she couldn’t get married without her first sidekick by her side.

Bridget and Julia became the dynamic duo as they tackled Misericordia University together. Between the cross country team, track team, and physical therapy program, Bridget and Julia were inseparable. Despite the distance, their friendship continued from Misericordia to adulthood as they navigated life in their new careers. Julia knew she couldn’t say I do, without the other part of her dynamic duo.

Ally and Julia have been friends since preschool, and continued their friendship even into college at Misericordia University and work life at Ellen Memorial. Whether treating their caseload or chit chatting over wine, Ally and Julia could have a blast! Ally is always in Julia’s corner with positivity and kind words. Julia couldn’t say I do without her cornerman.

Annie and Julia have been friends since their childhood. High school solidified their friendship with embarrassing Razor cellphone and Mac Desktop Photobooth selfies. The selfie-taking continued into their adulthood, but fortunately filters were created to make them less embarrassing. Annie has been a core voice in helping Julia navigate life, especially relationships. Julia knew she couldn’t say I do without her personal therapist and fellow amateur photographer.

From teammates to sisters (“in law,” but sisters just the same), Marcie and Julia have found themselves rooting for the same team, whether at Misericordia as a Cougar or at home as a Blaskiewicz. Marcie was front row for many of Julia’s life events and was excited to welcome Matt as a new member of the family. Matt got the final seal of approval when Marcie’s sons, Bennett and Sammy, ran to give Matt a big hug. Julia couldn’t say I do without her sister supporting her.
