It all started with a swipe… Julia and Caleb’s love story began in the most modern way possible—on Tinder. Their first date was at Braum’s, and after hours of talking and eating ice cream, a connection was obvious. Phone conversations lasted late into the night, and as they got to know each other, their relationship grew stronger. But their love story almost hit a bump before it even got going. Not long after their first date, Julia got ridiculously sick—the kind of sick where making plans felt like running a marathon. Every time they tried to set up another date, she had to cancel. After about 3 cancellations in a row, Caleb began to wonder if he wasn't taking the hint. Maybe Julia was flaking on him and didn't have the heart to tell him. That's when Caleb decided that he wasn't going to try to plan any more dates with Julia. But he heard God tell him to give Julia one last chance. On the next date, Julia didn’t cancel, and she and Caleb had a wonderful time at the park. That’s when Caleb knew that Julia was worth the wait. Once they got past the rocky, NyQuil-fueled beginning, their connection was undeniable. Caleb was drawn to Julia’s kindness, adventurous spirit, and infectious laughter, while Julia fell for Caleb’s sense of humor, big heart, and ability to make any moment special. Together, they’ve built a life full of love, inside jokes, spontaneous road trips, and the kind of partnership that feels like home. After a year of shared dreams and unforgettable memories, Caleb popped the question in the sweetest way—one that perfectly captured their story. (Ask them about it at the wedding!)
