Ryan Keith Walker was born & raised in McAllen, TX. He attended the University of Texas at Austin for his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He went on to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio for his Bachelor and Master of Science in Computer Engineering. Ryan then moved to Dayton, OH in 2020, where he now works for Booz Allen Hamilton as a Design and Verification Engineer.

Julia Ann Desrosiers was born & raised in Cincinnati, OH. She attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH for her Bachelor of Art in Political Science. Julia continued her education at the University of Cincinnati where she received her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Julia now works as a High School Social Studies teacher at Miami Valley Christian Academy in Newtown, OH.

Ryan & Julia met in the summer of 2022 playing on the Ultimate team, Steamboat. They spent the summer becoming friends through league, Steamboat outings, and Newton Village Tavern visits after Wednesday practice. On one fated Sunday with a margarita on the line, Ryan lost to Julia in a Fantasy Football face-off. Thus, their first date - which neither actually knew was a date. Over tacos and margs, and a few tense games of pac-man, their journey began.

To this day, Ryan has yet to beat Julia in Fantasy Football.

Ryan and Jules have a passion for adventure and have spent their time together always eager to explore! One thing the couple enjoys is traveling. They have traveled all across the country - Colorado, Red River Gorge, Charleston, San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and many others!

Together, Ryan and Julia brought home Maylee Bean in December of 2023. Maylee has kept them on their toes and brought an excited vision of what the couples future will be!

Proud Football fans - Julia has successfully converted Ryan into a Bengals fan, and Ryan successfully converted Jules to a Texas fan. They enjoy making it to football games when they can.

Proud Homeowners - Ryan & Jules bought their first house together this December 2024. They look towards settling down and building a family and life together for years to come!

On August 18, 2024, Julia was getting ready for their monthly date-night outing. Ryan was getting ready for the biggest question of his life.

A very-nervous Ryan pulled a slightly-suspicious Julia onto the balcony of their apartment. Ryan lifted their garden gnome statue to reveal the ring box, and shared his thoughts and reflection of the past two years together. He knelt down on one knee and asked an all-very important question - "WASSUP?"

Just kidding, he asked her to MARRY HIM! And she said YES!
