The elevation is quite high so if you are sensitive, you should attempt to acclimate and maybe bring one of those on-the-go oxygen canisters. They fit in a purse. AND ALCOHOL AFFECTS YOU TWICE AS MUCH AT THIS ELEVATION! KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN PARTYING!

Children Under 13 are asked not to be in attendance at the wedding. We appreciate your cooperation on this as we want all us adults to feel comfortable letting their hair down without the responsibilities of kids! There are reputable babysitting companies in town. telluridesitters.com for one!

There are daily flights directly into Telluride and even more options into neighboring airports (Montrose, Cortez) where you can either rent a car (not recommended) or take a shuttle. Info for all is on the Travel page. Mountain Lodge can help you book a shuttle from any nearby airport. And if you book directly through concierge, you’ll get 10% off your shuttle! You can even fly into Denver, and drive if you want to see the state!

We only ask for a "mountain formal" dress code at the wedding itself. No jeans and t-shirt please even if that's what you'd normally wear in the mountains! Also, think earthy tones and not summer brights.

It's been known to snow this time of the year on a rare occasion so make sure to have layers just in case! The highs will likely be the 50s or 60s. Daily high temperatures decrease by 11°F, from 59°F to 49°F, rarely falling below 37°F or exceeding 67°F. Daily low temperatures decrease by 8°F, from 38°F to 29°F, rarely falling below 20°F or exceeding 45°F.

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (weather dependent) and the reception will be indoors.

We recommend not getting a car unless you plan to explore outside of the town of Telluride (which is great too!) but if you will have a car, parking is $20+/day at Mountain Lodge (depending on Valet or not).

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

We would like to know if you'll be attending the wedding itself by Thanksgiving 2022 as the hotel rooms will likely be booked up quickly over the weekend and some of the room types are very limited.
