Melanie is Julia’s sister, her ride-or-die, and her DNA-related best friend. Melanie has supported Julia through every major life change and always reminds her "you only live once so why not"

Regan and Julia met during their senior year of High School when Julia transferred High Schools. They became inseparable during Covid from sleepovers to getting a job together to spend even more time together.

Ashely and Julia met in ROTC at Millersville University. Whicher and Julia stood by each other through cold nights of training and college shenanigans. Ashley has proved time and time again to be a great battle buddy and a great friend.

Danny and Shane met when Shane moved into the house next to Danny. Shane dealt with Danny pining over Julia for years and even helped him ask Julia to prom their junior year. Over the years they've remained friends and Shane comes to New York to visit several times a year. Shane is truly the Joey to our Monica and Chandlier.

Justin and Daniel met at their first duty station in South Korea. When they both were assigned to West Point they decided to be roommates. Since becoming roommates they have spent many nights arguing over which Chinese place is better and rewatching the Sopranos. Their friendship has remained all the way from Korea to New York.

Nash and Daniel meet in Korea at their first duty station. They became friends after Daniel forced Nash to go out with him every night. Nash now lives across the street from Daniel and Julia. Nash is a great uncle to Daniel and Julia's puppies and a lifelong friend.

Kate is Julia's youngest sister. Kate was born when Julia was 9 and she has been her mini me ever since. Kate is the life of the party even though she's only 13. Regardless of her age she is one of Julia's best friends.
