In 2014, Julia and Ben met during their first year at Laurier, living just four rooms down from each other in the Post House residence. It was definitely a frenemies to lovers story. We quickly found ourselves in the same friend group and began spending more and more time together. Our game nights were filled with playful arguments, fueled by our competitive nature and our tendency to call each other out without hesitation. Before long, we were simply enjoying each other’s company - walking to our classes together, playing late night card games, and having movie nights. Before the end of the school year in 2015, we began dating.

Fast forward to March 2024, after celebrating nine amazing years together. We traveled to Portugal, where Ben proposed to Julia on a beautiful sunny day, overlooking the cliffs of Lagos. It is, without a doubt, our favourite memory to date.

Over the past decade of dating, we've made so many memories together doing our favourite things like hiking, going on road trips, trying new coffee shops, and traveling! Some of our favourite destinations we’ve been to are France, Austria, Cuba, Vegas, and of course Portugal.

As we start this next chapter, we're so grateful for all the memories we've made and excited for all the adventures ahead!
