What is the money dance? How does it work?
The "money dance" is a popular Filipino tradition where guests pin money onto the bride's and groom's clothing while dancing with them. This practice symbolizes well-wishes and good fortune for the newlyweds as they start their life together.
Typically, during the reception, a song (or series of songs) is played and guests line up to dance with either the bride or groom. Before the dance, they pin money to the bride's and groom's clothing.
